OVSTAT — Overwatch Radar Chart Generator (hereinafter "the Site") establishes and discloses the following Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and smoothly.

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

The Site processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, the Site shall take necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

  • Providing Overwatch player stats analysis and radar chart generation services
  • Providing community boards and contact/bug report services
  • Managing service usage records

1.2 Service Improvement and Statistics

  • Analyzing service usage statistics
  • Analysis for service quality improvement

2. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information

2.1 Personal Information Items Processed

  • Automatically collected information: IP address, cookies, access logs, service usage records
  • When using community boards: Content of posts written, time of creation
  • When using contact/bug reports: Content of inquiries written, time of creation

2.2 Retention Period

  • Service usage records: Retained during the service provision period
  • Board posts: Retained until deleted by the author
  • Access logs: Retained for 1 year, then automatically deleted

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Site, in principle, does not provide personal information to third parties. However, the following cases are exceptions:

  • When the data subject has given prior consent
  • When required by law or at the request of investigative agencies following procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes

4. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

The Site outsources personal information processing as follows for smooth handling of personal information:

  • Google Analytics: Service usage statistics analysis (Google LLC)
  • Google AdSense: Advertising service provision (Google LLC)

5. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them

Data subjects may exercise the following rights:

  • Request to view personal information
  • Request to correct or delete personal information
  • Request to suspend processing of personal information

Rights may be exercised through written request, email, or fax to the Site, and the Site shall take action without delay.

6. Destruction of Personal Information

The Site shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved.

The procedures and methods of destruction are as follows:

  • Destruction procedure: Unnecessary personal information is destroyed in accordance with internal policies and related laws
  • Destruction method: Information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that prevent reproduction of records

7. Personal Information Protection Officer

The Site designates the following Personal Information Protection Officer to oversee personal information processing and handle complaints and damage relief related to personal information processing.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective from January 19, 2025. When there are additions, deletions, or modifications due to changes in laws, policies, or security technologies, the Site shall announce such changes through site notices at least 7 days before the effective date of changes.
